The SCIFIT AC5000 treadmill is a specialized piece of fitness equipment engineered for clinical rehabilitation, gait training, and medically supervised cardio programs. Known for its exceptionally low starting speed of 0.1 mph, adjustable in precise 0.1 mph increments, the ac5000 treadmill supports controlled progression for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or neurological conditions. Its maintenance-free, shock-absorbing deck and maximum user weight capacity of 550 lbs make it suitable for demanding therapy environments.
Designed for safety and accessibility, this Scifit treadmill features a 22" x 62" walking surface, dual emergency-stop controls, and side handrail switches for speed and elevation adjustments. Certain configurations also offer touchscreen capability for intuitive session management and optional heart rate integration. With hospital-grade build quality and compliance with leakage protection standards, this treadmill meets the needs of rehabilitation clinics, therapy centers, and supervised training programs.
Although the AC5000 is commonly used alongside steppers, ellipticals, and other medical cardio devices, the manufacturer has discontinued this model. As a result, availability may appear out of stock through many suppliers, and clinical installations may require attention to specific power requirements, including amp specifications.
US MedRehab continues to support facilities and home users who rely on the AC5000 platform. Two recommended alternatives are available:
