Nuprodx MC4000TX Portable Roll-In Shower Chair

The Nuprodx MC4000TX is a lightweight, portable rolling shower and commode chair designed for travelers who require caregiver assistance with bathroom transfers. The MC4000TX can be rolled directly into a barrier-free shower and positioned over standard and taller ADA-compliant toilets, helping reduce the need for multiple transfers in the bathroom. Its modular construction allows the chair to be adjusted for different users and bathroom configurations, while its two-part folding seat frame and cloth back allow it to be disassembled and packed for transportation.

Designed specifically for portability, the Nuprodx MC4000TX combines a rolling shower commode chair with a travel-oriented folding and packing system. Four 5-inch diameter casters allow the chair to roll across most surfaces, while flip-up cantilever arms facilitate lateral transfers into the chair. The two-part folding seat frame and cloth back help make the chair easier to pack, and a rolling carrying case is included for travel. Nuprodx currently notes that the bag pictured in older product materials has been discontinued and that the MC4000TX is now supplied with a larger rolling bag.

The MC4000TX features a 17-inch by 17-inch hourglass-shaped, hand-wrapped Naugahyde commode cushion designed to provide increased hygiene access. The chair uses aircraft-grade aluminum along with brass and stainless steel components, with construction intended to resist rust and corrosion. Its modular design incorporates built-in adjustment features, allowing the chair to be configured for different user sizes and bathroom layouts.
