The portable US-1000 3rd Edition is a therapeutic ultrasound device that generates deep ultrasonic waves within body tissues to treat pain, muscle spasms, and joint stiffness.

Unlike electrical modalities, ultrasound is unique in that the longitudinal waveform associated with sound is not electromagnetic in nature. The piezoelectric crystal converts electrical energy into a strong vibratory sound wave, or ultrasound, a sound beyond the normal range of human hearing. Sound waves cause vibration in soft tissue cells, increasing temperature, and inducing vasodilation, to give you the relief you need - all controllable with 3 different power output settings!  Treatment duration is determined by a medical practitioner, and may range from 5-10 minutes depending on the conditions treated and anatomic target site. Because air is a very poor sound conductor, ultrasound gels are used to conduct the sound wave energy to the skin.

Product Directions:

  1. Connect power wire to wire socket.
  2. Connect AC adapter to power.
  3. Apply sufficient gel to skin at target area.
  4. Switch on the power. It power signal light is on, start to use Portable Ultrasound.
  5. Place the treatment head on the skin and move it slowly over the target area in a circular motion or in linear strokes at a rate of about 1 inch per second. DO NOT stop moving treatment head while in use.
  6. Use special care on bony prominences to avoid discomfort.
  7. The power automatically turns off in 30 minutes or, if desired, the power can be turned off sooner by pushing the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
  8. After using the US-1000, clean skin with water to remove gel.
  9. Wipe excess gel off the treatment head with a damp cloth. Disinfect treatment head with antiseptic wipe. Do not immerse treatment head in water or solvent.
  10. When power shuts off, leave unit off for 30 minutes before restarting unit.
  11. After every treatment, disconnect AC adapter from power source.
  12. Do not impact the treatment head or drop treatment head on the floor.

 

 

***Note: Portable Ultrasound may only be returned if the product has NOT been used. Used Ultrasound devices may not be returned due to sanitary health reasons set by the FDA. If you are attempting to return the device due to defect or malfunction with performance, this would go through the warranty and we ask you to please contact us for a warranty claim.

Freight Policy: For all non-Standard Ground shipments, please call for a Freight Quotation.  All merchandise is carefully packed and inspected before leaving our facility or that of the manufacturer / drop-ship point. Responsibility for its safe delivery is assumed by the carrier upon acceptance of the shipment. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must be made to the Motor Freight Carrier. Visible loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill and signed by the carrier’s agent. Failure to adequately note and describe external evidence of damage may result in the carrier refusing to honor a damage claim. Contents of the packages(s) must be inspected immediately. Concealed loss or damage means loss or damage which does not become apparent until the merchandise has been unpacked. When damage is discovered, submit a written request for inspection by the carrier’s agent within fifteen days of the delivery date. All packing material must be saved for inspection so that a proper claim may be filed. Damage is the carrier’s responsibility. By following the instructions, we guarantee our full support of your claims to protect you against loss or concealed damage. Please feel free to call our Customer Service Department for further directions about initiating this process with the Motor Freight Carrier.

Return Policy: All returns must have a RGA number applied (Returned Goods Authorization).  An RGA number may be obtained through our Customer Service Department. US MedRehab honors the warranty of the original manufacturer, and defective products that cannot be repaired on-site will not be charged a restocking fee. Non-defective products can be returned within 30 days after shipment if ordered in error and may be subject to a 25% restocking charge to cover handling and transaction costs.  Non-defective products cannot be returned after 30 days post shipment delivery.  All non-defective, returned items must be in saleable condition, accompanied by the original packaging material. No returns, exchanges or refunds will be accepted on custom or special ordered items.
