Airex Balance Beam, 64" x 9.5 x 2.5", Blue

The Airex Balance Beam is a foam stability exercise trainer that's terrific for balance, stretching, physical therapy, rehabilitation and core strength training. Trapezoidal, the beam can be used as a practical replacement for a Pilates role, with the instability of the device even intensifying such exercises. The shape was developed especially for clinical balance and proprioception exercises. Its unique shape offers twice as many features as users can position the beam wide-side down for greater stability while working out or place it narrow-side down for a tougher vestibular challenge. Made from easy-to-clean, closed-cell foam with an "integrally molded skin" for extra toughness, these beams are soft, supple, and cushiony. They gently absorb shock to prevent injuries and the textured surface areas prevent slipping and sliding. Rinsing after use with fresh water is all that's needed. Just shake off the excess water and allow to air dry.

The beams Blue, Latex-free and are sized at 16" x 9.5" x 2.5". Tremendous benefit in physiotherapy to aid patients who need to regain walking and foot functions. With its practical size, the beam supports the ankle joint as well as the transverse and longitudinal arch on the foot. The beam helps as a lordosis support or as a support for the spine, to sustainably strengthen the back and core area. The balance beams float, making them suitable for water therapy and other water-based exercises.
