The patented blue hydrogel is skin-friendly and provides a mild adhesion that is more comfortable compared to many other TENS electrodes on the market. The structure is robust, allowing most patients multiple uses per pack.

Innovative Production Process

Unlike conventional TENS electrode pads, which may include latex and a specific acid that can cause allergic reactions and skin irritation, the PROTENS electrodes are produced using a unique and costly process. This method avoids the use of latex or acid in the manufacturing and curing of the gel, providing a safer option for those with sensitive skin.

Compatible and Versatile

Each pack contains 4 individual pads, with a case quantity of 500 packs. The electrodes feature an industry-standard 2mm diameter, female pin-style connector, ensuring compatibility with most lead wires of portable and clinical electrotherapy devices. The 2" x 2" square (48mm x 48mm) size is the most versatile and commonly-used, allowing comfortable application on most areas of the body.

The cloth-based backing of the pads, in a distinctive blue color, maintains structural integrity while allowing flexibility to contour to the skin.

Usage Instructions

These hypo-allergenic TENS electrodes can be used for a variety of electrotherapy modalities including TENS, EMS/NMES, Interferential (IFC), Russian Stim, and Microcurrent. To ensure the best results and longevity of the pads, follow these steps:

• Wash and trim hair at the treatment site, but do not shave.
• Ensure your electrotherapy unit is switched off before use.
• Connect electrodes to the unit via lead wires while they are still on the clear plastic liner.
• Apply the electrodes to clean, unbroken skin as prescribed.
• After treatment, carefully peel the pads from the skin and replace them back on the plastic liner as indicated.
• Avoid using the pigtail lead wire connector to remove the electrodes as this can damage them.
• Store the electrodes in the sealed zip-lock poly bag packaging when not in use. Keep them in a cool, dark place such as a refrigerator.
• If electrodes start to dry and lose their adhesive quality, rejuvenate them with a few drops of water or Conductive Spray, rubbed evenly across the gel surface, to get a few more uses before discarding them.
